Trinity not Town[edit]

In Bridlington, there used to be two semi-professional clubs, Bridlington Town and Bridlington Trinity. For most of their history, they played at the same ground, Queensgate, but they were entirely different clubs under different owners. It's a common mistake to attribute Kenny Boden to Town. In fact, he played for Trinity during the mid-1970s under Mick Jones. To my knowledge, he never played for Town; I suppose it is possible he did play for Town as well as Trinity, but the important point is that reliable sources show him as a Trinity player - for example, a Trinity team photo can quickly be found online with Ken Boden in the front row, farthest right. The only sources that have him as a Town player are secondary sources which are just recycling the same mistaken fact. I have edited the article with the correct club name. (I am local and I know Trinity's history). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.100.193.244 (talk) 14:12, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
