Article is long enough and was new enough (moved from draft) when nominated. Inline citations look fine, tone is neutral, hook is interesting, QPQ done. Unfortunately, copyvio check flags a significant problem. Fix that, and it's GTG. HouseOfChange (talk) 04:15, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The copied section from the Orca article will need to be 5x expanded per WP:DYKSPLIT; what this means is that the Balcomb article needs expansion, not the specific section of the article. As it runs 1084 prose characters, the article needs to be 5420 prose characters and it's currently 3171. The article will need to be expanded by another 2249 prose characters in order to qualify for DYK. BlueMoonset (talk) 15:16, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
