Remove assertions[edit]

I just removed some unsourced assertions - that Kempinski is the oldest luxury hotel group, and that it is the "only truly European luxury hotel group". While internet sources can be found that repeat these claims none of them seem to be appropriate for sourcing for an encyclopedia. they all seemed like pieces that were repeating the hotel groups blurb in order to fill out some detail for readers rather than be investigative pieces into what it is to be a luxury hotel group, or rigorous looks at the history of hotel groups or this comapny. If anyone has some good sources it would be great to use them, though I'm not sure this sort of claim attracts the sort of study necessary to source properly. -- SiobhanHansa 09:28, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Update property list based on company website: http://www.kempinski.com/en/hotels/destinations/[edit]

Hello,

I would like to ask for your help in updating the hotel overview as it is not accurate any more, because some hotels left the portfolio or joined recently.

For example, the following hotels are no longer part of the Kempinski brand:

  • Schloss Reinhartshausen Kempinski, Eltville, Frankfurt, Germany
  • Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich, Munich, Germany (until December 2014, will become a Hilton)[4]
  • Kempinski Hotel River Park, Bratislava, Slovakia
  • Le Mirador Kempinski, Mont-Pélerin, Lake Geneve, Switzerland
  • Kempinski Hotel N'Djamena, N'Djamena, Chad
  • Hotel Mille Collines by Kempinski, Kigali, Rwanda [7]
  • Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya, Haitang Bay, Sanya, China
  • Kempinski Hotel Yixing, Yixing, China
  • Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi, New Delhi, India

And the following hotels are new to the portfolio and open already:

  • Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden (already open, not coming in April 2015)
  • San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice (Italy)
  • Kempinski Burj Rafal Hotel, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (already open, not soon)

For reference, please refer to the official company website: http://www.kempinski.com/en/hotels/destinations/

Thank you for your consideration!
