Who is Balbir Singh?[edit]

In the article, there is a reference to a man who by inference faced similar charges but was acquitted. There is no information in the article to place this man in context or adequately lay out why he was charged and/or acquitted. I don't know enough about these events to improve the article, but hopefully there is a wikipedian who can.
