Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a musical recording that does not indicate its own importance and where the artist's article does not exist, because this was the first significant recording done by Novi Split. I will now be making an article specifically about Novi Split, the Band, showing how this band (which has sold thousands of records and had songs appear on popular television shows) is notable.--Desertally (talk) 16:27, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you create an article for the band, I'll gladly remove the speedy delete tag. :)  -- WikHead (talk) 16:42, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I'll most likely have one written by the end of the day.--Desertally (talk)
Yikes, I'm not sure that's quick enough. If I see that red-link turn blue however, I will indeed remove the tag immediately.  -- WikHead (talk) 16:58, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • PS. When I say red-link, I'm referring to the one that says "Novi Split".  -- WikHead (talk) 17:02, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The link should be blue now!~~Desertally — Preceding unsigned comment added by Desertally (talkcontribs) 22:25, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yep! It's blue now, which means my concerns regarding CSD A9 have been addressed, and the tag removed. In the future, please remember to create the band's article before creating articles about their recordings. Good luck, and cheers! :)  -- WikHead (talk) 01:47, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
