Some notes: the post office is just a contract station. Only the PO boxes use 96739. People who live in the area (like us!) use 96740 for street addresses. There are a couple other areas with this name, although not populated, I think. There are several historical sites here, and an important bay. Royal birthplaces, battle grounds, etc. Not sure if I should add another article for that, or expand this one.

OK, I found a Keauhou Point and Keauhou Landing[1]with a trail in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park[2] 19°15′45″N 155°13′58″W / 19.26250°N 155.23278°W / 19.26250; -155.23278 and Northwest of Kilauea a Keauhou Bird Conservation Center run by the San Diego Zoo.[3]
