Status of the documentary "The History of R&B Music"[edit]

Interestingly enough I just found out about Kashif looking into the history of R&B, was not aware that he died in 2016. Back in 2014 he was raising funds for his documentary film The History of R&B Music and Its Influence on World Culture https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-history-of-r-b-music#/ which I presume is now ended due to his death, as well as the IndieGoGo fundraiser not meeting its goal.
