Wow! Is she really releasing a new album? I can't wait! 69.249.114.154 02:18, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I can't believe it either! She was like one of the best recording artists of the 1980s, equally beautiful and talented. I look forward to hearing more of her sweet music!

Fair use rationale for Image:KarenWhiteCD1.jpg[edit]

Image:KarenWhiteCD1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

You forgot to include Guest singer in 1986 Private Passion album[edit]

To the person running the Karyn White page.

I want to let you know that you forgot to include the part in where Karyn White is a guest Singer in Jeff Lorbers 1986 cd album Private Passion. She sang a duet with Michael Jeffries. She also sung in "Facts of Love", "Back in Love" and "True Confessions" Anyways please include that part because that was the starting carrer in her solo R&B music carrier. I wanted to make an edit[edit]

I wanted to make an edit on Karyn White, so I could put that the photo was taken around 2012 because of her album, Carpe Diem has the same red outfit that she is wearing. But due to the Biography of a living person policy, I decided that I would not make the edit because that Karyn White is living, there can only be sources from journalism, but I am not sure if I could put the infobox caption in. Thank you. 2601:406:4200:8E90:8C79:3C39:A0B0:471D (talk) 12:22, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The photo was uploaded in 2011, so you would want to bump up the year. Binksternet (talk) 16:35, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Before fame[edit]

Ms. White was an member of an band with the name Legacy, formed by former Switch member Jody Sims and also toured with singer O'Bryan in 1984, and also she wrote an song for Stephanie Mills for her 1985 album. Here is proof. [1] (biography), [2] (also another reference for 1984), [3] and Stephanie Mills for 1985. Not sure if i provided reliable sources, because I found info through the internet. Also Wikipedia is not an reliable source, but there is info that Karyn White wrote the song because it is included on here. Oldschoollover24 (talk) 02:26, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
