Redundant?[edit]

This seems a bit redundant with the Kapalua Resort article. If the border of the CDP is exactly the resort, then it might be merged into this one. Certainly the resort logo would seem more appropriate for that article than this one. Actually I would propose moving the golf and housing descriptions etc. to that one, and keeping this one for the demographic info and geographic, e.g. beach desciptions. All seashores are public property in Hawaii, so it is misleading to imply that the resort "has" the beaches. The resort does seem notable for the golf tournaments and for Flemming. There also have been controversies surrounding recent development proposals, and see also the Honolua, Hawaii article, even though right now Honolua Bay redirects here, while Kapalua Bay does not. I would point Honolua Bay to Honolua article, and Kapalua Bay here unless there is another consensus. I think Honolua was the historical name and Kapalua invented by the resort, but not sure yet. Should also link to Kapalua Airport probably, I think it is south of the CDP but owned by the resort? W Nowicki (talk) 21:35, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
