  Oops, I failed to notice that the target page is actually a redirect to a different page, Kansas City Southern Railway, for which Kansas City Southern (company) is the parent company. So it's not so straightforward, and if Kansas City Southern (disambiguation) were created it could list the Railway and its parent company. I'm not sure if the railway or the parent company is more "primary". — P.T. Aufrette (talk) 05:13, 10 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi, there. I believe I have fully disclosed my paid participation on my Lmwiedy user page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Lmwiedy. Please let me know if I need to do anything else.

As of now, I would like to add the following sections to the Kansas City Southern (company) page with the necessary citations. All of the Kansas City Southern pages (Kansas City Southern Railway, Kansas City Southern de México, etc.) were created years ago and need to be updated. We were approached by an independent consultant who noted the need to update the pages and offered to update the content for a fee, but we decided to take on the updating ourselves--especially since we at Kansas City Southern have the copyrights to the images we need to update.

If you can add the following content, please do. If it's okay for me to add, I will as soon as I get the word. Thank you!

KCS’ Holiday Express in the U.S. and its Tren Navideño in Mexico stop at multiple locations along KCS’ rail network for free, festive public events.

KCSR’s Holiday Express efforts also include purchasing gift cards, which are donated to the Salvation Army at each stop to give to children in each community in need of warm clothing and other necessities.

Awards and Recognition

KCS received the 2018 CIO 100 award in 2018 for excellence in information technology (IT) in recognition for KCS’ deployment of a cloud-based, automated crew workforce and management system.

Latino Leaders magazine recognized three members of KCS’ Board of Directors—Lu M. Córdova, Antonio O. Garza, Jr. and David Garza-Santos—as 2017’s Most Relevant Latinos in Board Service in its special September/October 2017 Corporate & Board Edition.

The Women’s Forum of New York honored KCS as a 2017 Corporate Champion of S&P 500 and F1000 companies that achieved 25 percent female representation on its Board of Directors. We were among 371 companies noted as corporate game-changers by advancing women in the boardroom.
