History of Kaithi[edit]

I wonder if anyone knows the history of Kaithi? Is it still alive? Was it a language or just a script? Were any books written in Kaithi? If one wanted to archive the literary work availabvle in Kaithi where would one start? Thanks, 130.212.47.69 (talk) 23:00, 7 September 2011 (UTC)Dr. Dipendra K. Sinha[reply]

IPA of aspirated letters[edit]

Are there any reasons why the IPA of the aspirated letters aren't present? I couldn't find any detailed sources on how this script is supposed to be pronounced but I don't see a reason why it shouldn't just have essentially the same entries as the unaspirated ones with the ʰ at the end. --LonleyGhost (talk) 17:40, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You may have answered your own question. Wikipedia articles should be sourced. DRMcCreedy (talk) 19:22, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting error[edit]

There seems to be an issue with the table near the end of the article, there is a large gap between the text and the table itself. Any idea how to fix? Om the genius (talk) 14:36, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Non-displayability of letters[edit]

Is it possible to replace the box with dash with screenshotted images of the script - Flag Mechanic (talk) 16:43, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure which is the "box with dash". If you want an image of the Unicode chart, click on the "Official Unicode Consortium code chart" link in the heading. If you want the Kaithi text displayed, you'll need to install a Kaithi font. DRMcCreedy (talk) 18:51, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
