Sister Stations[edit]

KSIT started out alone, and was a competitor (in FM) to KRKK (in AM) for advertiser revenue. Of course KSIT's signal was quite a bit stronger than KRKK's; though KRKK could be heard further at night. This may no longer be the case. KRKK and KQSW were sister stations (and always were), but KSIT wasn't part of that partnership in the beginning.--Equilibrious (talk) 18:53, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Former Callsign[edit]

Not trying to be picky here, just trying to help clean this up a bit. KSIT was not called KMKX from 1981-1997. When KSIT first came to Rock Springs in May of 1981, it was "KSIT". Apparently KSIT changed to KMKX from 1997 to 1999 most likely as a result of some kind of ownership change. However, from '81 to '97 it was KSIT, then KMKX for two years, then back to KSIT again in '99 (according to the FCC also).--Equilibrious (talk) 19:09, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
