This is just a glorified ad - needs more info on its' days as 2UW on the AM band too. PMA 16:15, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree -this article needs to be more balanced and objective. Whoever added in the criticism of MixFM and the amount of advertising on it was on the right track but the whole article needs a more objective overview —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.166.73.156 (talk) 21:15, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I wish to mark this as an advert cleanup, on similar grounds to how the 4BC article currently is. It is arguable whether, for instance, expanded information about its programs, including contests and such, is notable enough (compare with the treatment on its Melbourne equivalent, Mix 101.1, for instance). A lot of the copy has also been ripped verbatim from the ARN corporate site (eg. the entire second paragraph). It probably needs a little more information about the 2UW side of its history as well. -Spiky Sharkie [ talk ] 05:25, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation required?[edit]

Given the recent IP-related commits adding a note about Mix 106.5 (WWMX) in Baltimore, I have posted pointers to WWMX (FM) and Cleveland's WMVX (and would have pointed to San Jose's KEZR too if there was a link there). These are all I could find on the first page of a Google search, but it's possible there could be other Mix 106.5's around the place. Having three or two "see also" links up top seems rather dodgy. Perhaps this should be moved to 'Mix 106.5 (Australian radio station)' or similar and make this a disambig page? -Spiky Sharkie [ talk ] 23:58, 22 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
