Rationale for deletion[edit]

Deletion of this page would aid in cleanup per the current standards of WP:DISAMBIG to remove unnecessary disambiguation pages and simplify both navigation and linking. - Dravecky (talk) 00:54, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As I noted on my talk page... To quote from the WP:DISAMB page referenced above, "If only a primary topic and one other topic require disambiguation, then disambiguation links are sufficient, and a disambiguation page is unnecessary." Since the radio station call letters are the primary identification and the code reference to an airport is a secondary identification, a hat note is sufficient and requires no more steps than would a disambiguation page for people seeking the airport. - Dravecky (talk) 04:02, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's not really important whether this article be deleted or turned into a redirect to the radio station. What is important is that if it does become a redirect, then a hatnote similar to this one is put on the target of the redirect pointing to the other use. The advantage of a redirect is that administrator action is not required. The side-effect is that the talk page is preserved. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:25, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Since the only content of this talk page is this discussion, as argument for its own deletion, preserving it at the expense of ease of use and clarity would be bitterly ironic, at best. - Dravecky (talk) 04:38, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
