Proposed Deletion - Content Fork[edit]

The title of this article implies a focus on x-ray spectroscopy and the K-line. The K-line in this article is simply iron's characteristic X-ray, which is covered broadly in Characteristic X-Ray. I think this, combined with the sole reference, makes this article a candidate for deletion.

I think the alternative would be a retitle to make clear that this is not an article about the K-line, but about iron's K-line in an astrochemical context (I don't think this is noteworthy enough to stand on its own, but others may disagree) Bhacha (talk) 18:38, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge that the iron K-line is used in astronomy into the broader article, then delete. I agree that it is misleading Ldm1954 (talk) 03:13, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
