Untitled[edit]

This is a good article. I will link it to the History of Mali. It could use a bit more on the connection with Korhogo and how it fit in overall Senufo history. --A12n 21:53, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The language is this article tends to be too colloquial, and needs to cite its sources. Kemet 17:41, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

This appears to be based on a Britanica 1911 entry[edit]

Which would explain the language problems. I would suggest you tag it as such, remove the sources warning, and clean up the language. :T L Miles 19:42, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I second Kemet's motion. The language is too informal and needs sourcing.

Wrong info[edit]

According sources the french don't besiege Sikasso in 1888-1889, in fact in this times Tieba was an ally of France and the french forces were still far from the zone. I believe that author of the article confused the siege of Kinian by Tieba of Sikasso (with suport of a french captain and indigenous auxiliars) with a siege of Sikasso; or perhaps confused a military siege with a political siege (the french were pressing Tieba against Samory while they were conquering Segou and Kaarta). Or perhaps is a confussion with the siege that happen ten years later (1898, when french conquered Sikasso). I don't know, but certainly there's not siege in 1888-1889. And unafortunately this mistake is now extended to others languages.83.41.44.235 (talk) 15:02, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
