(2) I received the National Medal of Science in 2014 not 2012. The Award was apparently approved in 2012, but I did not receive until 2014. This has created confusion in peoples' minds.Judith Klinman

replace She earned her A.B. from University of Pennsylvania in 1962 and Ph.D. from the same university in 1966. with She earned her A.B. in chemistry from University of Pennsylvania in 1962 and Ph.D. in physical organic chemistry from the same university in 1966. I am Judith Klinman's assistant so want to disclose that conflict of interest, but her entry doesn't have much info. How do we add factual info without getting flagged? And what if there's no way to confirm that info that I can find? For example, Judith was chair of the Chemistry Department at UC Berkeley but the website doesn't list past chairs. Dr. Klinman's A.B., which would now be referred to as a B.S., is an undergraduate degree, and would not normally be included in the article. References for her Doctorate in Chemistry should come from UPenn. Information on her post-doc work should come from either Fox Chase Cancer Center or Temple University, as they are the Center's affiliate. They are likely to be the repository of information from the Chase Cancer Research Institute. In 2000, she received an honorary Ph.D. from the University of Uppsala, Sweden. ^[6]

In 2001, she was elected to the American Philosophical Society. ^[7]

In 2003, she received the David S. Sigman Lectureship Award from UCLA. ^[8]

In 2005, she received the Remsen Award. ^[9]

In 2006, she received an honorary Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania^[10]

In 2007, she was elected to the American Association for the Advancement of Science ^[11] and she received the Merck Award from the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. ^[12]

In 2012, she received the A. I. Scott Medal for Excellence in Biological Chemistry Research. ^[13]
