Bakula favorite[edit]

I watched a Youtube video where Scott Bakula picked this episode as his favorite.[1] I hate to use video links as references since they break too easily so have not added it to the article, and instead I'm adding this note in the hope that maybe someone can find a better text based reference later (including me). I should probably also mention that I'm fairly sure he has picked other episodes as his favorite, or said they were among his favorites[2] in other interviews (such as the slideshow caption which said "Bakula told Blastr that "In a Mirror, Darkly" was a favorite of his"). -- 109.76.144.128 (talk) 22:13, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I found an article in the LA Times,[3] which was syndicated from the Washington Post (although I can't seem to find a copy of the article at the Washington Post). It says that Bakula picked Judgement as his favorite episode, but it explains important context, that this was part of DVD collection called "Star Trek: Fan Collective -- Captain's Log". It seems the clip on YouTube came from this DVD.[4] The box set contains 15 episodes, 3 from each of the 5 series.[5]
I guess I should add a "Home media" section to the article the article already. -- 109.79.79.163 (talk)
I added a "Home media release" section, same as other episode articles in the series. For now I've included the comments from Bakula in that section because they relate to the DVD but maybe it would be better if his praise for the episode was in the Reception section so I might change that later. -- 109.79.73.17 (talk) 05:57, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Foul Mouth Friday's anecdote from JG Herzler[6]. I was tempted to add it to the production section but I probably shouldn't. -- 109.79.64.54 (talk) 01:06, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Free audio commentary[edit]

The Star Trek website offered free audio commentary downloads for several episodes including one for Judgment, but the links went dead.[7] Unlike some of the other commentaries it was not included on any of the DVD or Bluray releases. TrekCore saved it from the memory hole and in 2014 made a copy of the podcast available for download in MP3 format.[8][9] The commentary podcast featured writer David A. Goodman with editor of StarTrek.com Tim Gaskill.

I haven't listened to it myself yet, I'll probably get around to it eventually, but it seems like it would be very useful to anyone interested in improving this article. Since it is free it might be worth including it using the {{External media}} template or linking to it in the External links section. -- 109.76.132.93 (talk) 00:51, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
