New Christians and Conversos[edit]

I have read and reread this article and cannot see any connection between the subject and Conversos with WP:RS. IZAK (talk) 22:54, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Gender[edit]

Regardless of the position readers may or may not have about gender, its application to a sixteenth-century physician is totally anachronistic. Emphatically, Huarte does not consider gender independently from sex, he is an organicist. So the argument is not only anachronistic per se, it is out of context here. What's more, it seems to be a politically motivated anachronism, whereas Wikipedia assumes good faith in both editors and readers. As a consequence of this, I have removed the section entirely. --86.6.148.125 (talk) 13:24, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The text under § Gender is supported by published, reliable sources. Whether any user finds the analysis anachronistic is irrelevant; Wikipedia exists to summarize existing mainstream knowledge. Are you sure the removal itself wasn't politically motivated? --Sangdeboeuf (talk) 00:10, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
