Fair use rationale for Image:Movie date movie lookalike.jpg[edit]

Image:Movie date movie lookalike.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sexuality[edit]

The following appeared in the opening paragraph:

"In February, 2009 he came out of the closet, stating that he "felt bad about all the years he hid his orientation and all the boyfriends he lost" because he would not be open with his lifestyle, making Meyers MADtv's first (and only) male gay cast member.[1]"

I deleted it because the reference to outandproud.com was bogus, and could find no other pages online that discussed his supposed "coming out." This is either an attempt to out him, or someone's idea of a joke, both of which I find reprehensible personally. Further, this has no place in wikipedia. Please refrain from doing this again. Although the article does a poor job of authenticating WP:N, it exists in this case. Google searche results for ["Josh Meyers" Seth] have some notable sources.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:59, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth[edit]

No citation is given for Bedford, NH, as his place of birth. IMDB states Evanston, Ill., in one place, and Bedford, NH, in another. The Wikipedia bio of his brother, Seth, states that the family lived in Evanston from 1973 to 1977, so unless they were on vacation in New Hampshire, it seems likely that Josh was born in Evanston. Either way, some facts would be nice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.157.157.49 (talk) 11:21, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Funny, I came here to make the same comment. Floatjon (talk) 04:36, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
One of the citations at the end of the sentence stated he was born in Bedford. I've copied the cite to immediately after Bedford, though to me that feels a little redundant. Cheers. DonIago (talk) 13:31, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
