Family and lawyer[edit]

Why no mention of parents and other immediate family members?

And why no mention that his interest in music led to a family dispute because his family wanted him to become a lawyer?

Orchestrator[edit]

We need to say more about his skill as an orchestrator. His orchestral works and concertos show definite influences of Mahler, Scriabin, Schoenberg and Richard Strauss, not to mention Korngold, but it's still Marx's own music and not derivative. -- Jack of Oz ^{[pleasantries]} 01:10, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
