Folsom and William Leidesdorff[edit]

This piece needs to address, in a more well-written fashion, Folsom and his California legacy, especially his dealings with William Leidesdorff, whose estate Libby purchased under unusual circumstances. It also needs to address Folsom's extensive real estate dealings, especially the Rancho de Los Americanos. [1] This is a fascinating early American character who died an untimely death, and I hope wikipedia can do his story justice. Regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 02:01, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

correction on age at fathers death[edit]

The correct age should be 8 years old rather than 6.
