Death[edit]

I was just watching the show Most evil, and according to the show he died in 2000 from heart failure. The article says he died in 1996 from a seizure. Which is correct? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.238.220.49 (talk) 04:30, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Correctness of this article[edit]

Two years later, Kallinger's son Joseph, Jr. was drowned by Joseph Sr. and Michael.

An anonymous IP changed this some time ago, as well as adding an irrelevant sentence and removing a reference, although it was probably a good faith edit; can someone nevertheless check this line for correctness? -- Casmith_789 (talk) 10:47, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just added to that sentence. I didn't want to correct someone's good faith edit, but the book I read and quoted from doesn't mention drowning. It merely states that the child's body was found under the rubble of a collapsed building and that they were unable to determine a cause of death leading to the insurance company's refusal to pay out the claim. I also added to the end of the paragraph that references the killing of the nurse. I removed the references cited because on two separate computers with two separate virus protections (different companies), it flagged the site as a spyware site. I didn't know how to: a) remove the reference deadlink b) quote the same source twice without listing it twice as a reference (soources 6 and 7) D unreal1 (talk) 19:25, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs better references[edit]

The Frances Farmer's Revenge article is undated, unsigned, and lacks sources itself. The Frances Farmers Revenge site, interesting though it may be, is an anonymous site that merely presents this stuff for its curiosity value. It seems to lack credentials that would establish it as a reliable source.

Bookrags presents itself as a collection of book summaries. In this case, the summary is of "Joseph Kallinger from 'World of Criminal Justice' ©2005-2006 Thomson Gale". The original, or a reprinted quotation, would have been fine; but here someone has summarized the information, so its reliability is questionable. This isn't to say it's a bad summary or mistates anything, but the problem is, "on whose say-so".

I see the item from the Radford Dept of Psych often. The problem with this source is that the name of the server cannot by itself confer legitimacy on the article. It doesn't seem to be part of a Radford publication, a presented paper, or the like. There is nothing to indicate what this material was compiled for, nor who the compilers are. In fact, if nothing else, it looks like a student project. I looked for the author names on the department listing as of today, and none of them are listed. It's a potentially useful compilation if it can be confirmed by sources that are in fact reliable.Tkotc (talk) 22:19, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Date of Birth[edit]

This article is clearly incorrect. It says that Kallinger was put up for adoption in 37 in the early life section, but it says he was born in 39 in the quick bio.
