Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

In an edit today, I removed some content about the reasons for Salazar's appointment as Finance Minister. I didn't want to guess what "attempt to different countries the party" might mean, the source I was reading didn't offer a similar explanation, and perhaps it isn't too relevant inasmuch as it seems to have little to do with Freitas himself - attempts to enlist Salazar had already been made, before Freitas.
I also made the explanation of the demise of the Freitas government quite a bit shorter. It could certainly be elaborated, but the previous material was unclear. Look for "portaria dos sinos" for material relevant to the church edicts. See "Lei da Separação do Estado das Igrejas"; I have the impression that the Évora edict implemented this, and the Salazar faction opposed some or all of it, but am unclear on the history beyond that.
