I'll take on this review, as part of the July 2021 Backlog Drive.

Lead[edit]

[John Fulton Woods (January 18, 1898 – October 4, 1946) was a professional baseball pitcher.] I'd suggest adding "... and police officer". I appreciate that it's his MLB appearance that makes him pass Wikipedia notability standards, but his law enforcement career seems to have been as big a part of his life.

[during his career ...] Capitalise "During".

College[edit]

[After completing East River,] I'd expect "completing high school" rather than "completing {name of high school}", but disregard if you're confident this phrasing is commonly used.
