two articles about Collins[edit]

Biased and inaccurate Wiki[edit]

This wiki does not do Jack Collins justice. It shorts his achievements and relies too heavily on a statement by Lombardy (after the two had a falling out) that is not accurate. IM John Donaldson’s new book (Bobby Fischer and His World) and the article the Fischer Project in the July 2021 Chess Life give Jack a lot more credit in Fischer’s narrative that this wiki does. Also many of the citations to Collins book My Seven Chess Prodigies - where whoever wrote this wiki tries to suggest Jack didn't actually teach or mentor the seven are misquotes or leave out important contrary information. 2600:4040:2A02:B600:F55B:5FFF:E4A1:B8E1 (talk) 02:52, 11 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
