Potato Famine emigration.[edit]

Is this not the same John Munn who vowed to help Irish emigrants fleeing the Potato Famine aboard deadly "coffin ships" by paying for the construction of a ship/ships that was/were sturdy and seaworthy and had enough room below decks that adults could walk upright? He did not over-crowd passengers and provided ample stores of food and water to last the entire trip. I believe the Munn ship/ships never lost a passenger unlike the coffin ships. Or is it another shipbuilder named John Munn? Thank you for your time, Wordreader (talk) 05:40, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
