Contested deletion[edit]

I disagree that, in its current state, it's obviously promotional, and I believe being inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame satisfies notability, although the article definitely needs work. Schazjmd (talk) 22:36, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Schazjmd: FYI: The article creator and major editor AmySEOPro (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) of this article has been blocked for "Undisclosed paid editing". I've nominated for deletion another article by the same account. There's also puffery ("hugely successful", "iconic") and apparent copyright violation from Lissauer's web site.

While Lissauser may meet notability requirements for a Wikipedia page, especially by virtue of his involvement with Leonard Cohen and Hallelujah, it would be good to have better sources and confirm statements in the article. For example, Lissauer himself doesn't appear to have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Rather, the song Hallelujah was what inducted. Perhaps this is a distinction without a difference, but I think reliable sources are needed to determine the appropriate language. ScienceFlyer (talk) 00:02, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
