Item removed[edit]

I've removed the sentence "When asked by the English tabloid "The Sun" what would he do with a million pounds, John retorted "buy The Daily Mirror!"" as it doesn't seem to provide any information. I also added a link to the link to John Keeble's band, I Play Rock. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jammycaketin (talkcontribs) 13:26, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Item removed pt 2[edit]

I'm going to remove the (re-inserted) statement that Keeble "played with Janick Gers". It's true that the referenced page says he did, but this just appears to be intended to enhance the "hard rock" credentials of a "pop" musician in a tongue in cheek manner. The fact is that Keeble played on Fish's first solo show in 1989, where Gers was also in the line-up (along with Frank Usher, Mickey Simmonds, Hal Lindes, Alison Jones and Neil Hay, neither of who is mentioned). Other than that, he appeared on the Fish song State of Mind from his 1990 solo album, on which Gers also co-wrote and appears on one track (but another one). I know of no other occasions when Keeble and Gers played together. That wouldn't matter, of course, but neither does Google. --Jimmy Fleischer (talk) 10:19, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
