Death year 1954?[edit]

This photo from Swartwout Memorial Cemetery, Hudson NY, is the grave of a firefighter named John H. Lake, whose Staten Island residence and 1877 birth year both match the Olympic cyclist. Can anyone confirm if these are the same person? If so, then we can update the article text & infobox, with 1954 for his death year. —173.68.139.31 (talk) 06:54, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
