Wife's blog[edit]

I was in the middle of expanding on Hatley's basic biographical information when the site maintained by his wife, went private. Is anyone familiar with this website? I'd email her and ask her but even the contact info is now set to private. TomPointTwo (talk) 01:17, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unit[edit]

The terms units and platoon seem to be used interchangeably. Presumably the element on patrol was a platoon, not a battalion (as the use of the term unit implies). If he returned to the "unit" there would have been more witnesses than just his platoon, as the reference to three other senior NCO's also suggests - a platoon does not have four senior NCO's. That suggests the involvement of more than just his platoon in the murder. The article does not make clear who was responsible and who was charged. And what about the officer in charge of his platoon? What was his role?Royalcourtier (talk) 07:04, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

free[edit]

THX Obama Trump. So apparently he was pardoned and got out before 20y eligibility. All the sources online - these far right militarist news portals so I won't even try to edit the article knowing how anal wikipedos can be. Do with the info whatever you want. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:8108:45C0:56CB:B4D6:4AF3:2009:EE95 (talk) 05:18, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

For reference for anyone else looking at this page: he was not pardoned but paroled. I've added this information in the article from a somewhat more neutral source. Rusalkii (talk) 01:43, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
