Cleaners: This article has been in this sad shape for two years. The fact is that John Crowe Ransom is a major American poet and a major figure in American Modernism, and this "article" is a chronology, probably copied out of a book. There is no article. At this point, Wikipedia looks less than unprofessional, and, furthermore, it has looked this way for two years. So, anyone deciding to do the good deed and do some cleaning really ought to start with making this a biographical article and then putting in a section on his literary philosophy and then his influence. Of these three, the first is less important, and a chronology is least informative of all. Geogre 01:45, 22 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It's not "The Greats," it's "Greats"[edit]

The Oxford course in the Greek and Latin classics is called "Greats," not "The Greats." But some kind of filter prevents this correction from being made. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.16.252.154 (talk) 13:57, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
