Place of Death[edit]

According to his New York Times obit, he died in New York City after falling ill in Grand Central Terminal. Is there other information saying he died in New Jersey? Here's the citation:

JOHN COTTON DANA DIES IN 73D YEAR; Head of Newark Library and Founder and Director of Newark Museum. CHAMPION OF OPEN SHELF Founded the First Special Library Department for Children--Machine Art One of His Hobbies. A Man of Original Ideas. A Native of Vermont. Some of His Enthusiasms. "John Cotton Dana, librarian of the Newark Library and director of the Newark Museum, died early yesterday afternoon in St. Vincent's Hospital here after six weeks' illness. Had he lived to Aug. 19 he would have been 73 years old.

While on his way to Woodstock, Vt., from Newark Mr. Dana became ill in Grand Central Terminal. He was taken to the Hotel Commodore and subsequently to the hospital. Death was due to acute toxemia that followed an operation undergone some time ago." Garnetpoint 03:52, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
