How do you cite oneself as the source?[edit]

I inadvertently stumbled across the entry for my Uncle Joe Gold in Wikipedia and made a few corrections and additions. However, I made the change before reading about the need for citing external sources. Since I am the source (writing about a family member), how do I cite my own knowledge of the man? Or should I have left the entry as it was? It didn't have any errors and I simply added more detail to the man's life. In fact, I could provide an entire tree for his family if wanted, but I didn't think that would be wanted here. In any case, what should I do now? Digging4roots 05:00, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
