The article doesn't footnote or explain this statement. Is it based on the fact that he was born in Rotuma (a Fijian dependency) or on his ancestry? If the latter, his ancestry isn't mentioned later in the article (yet). Andrew Dalby 08:45, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
