Article title[edit]

The policy as spelled out at Wikipedia:Article titles requires that the article title is to use the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources. This applies to the title of the article – but within the text of the article, pursuant to WP:MOSBIO, the person's legal name should usually appear first in the article. I trust that explains the current Wikipedia policy as it relates to this issue. Dolovis (talk) 14:08, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No actually it doesn't as you have been shown in the centralized discussion on the topic, that common name doesn't take into account diacritics. You have been by a majority (almost 100%) of the people in that discussion that your interpretation of that policy is incorrect. -DJSasso (talk) 15:10, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

– 30x more Czech Extraliga player BLPs per policies and guidelines cited in Talk:Dominik Halmosi. In ictu oculi (talk) 05:58, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support BLP correctness; not only are all of these players almost exclusively known and play in their native country, as someone who knows a modicum of Czech I can say that these current names do not reflect the proper pronunciation in the slightest. Cheers, Zaldax (talk) 11:53, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per many of the arguments I have made in the past. Much more accurate spelling. -DJSasso (talk) 11:51, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per extensive recent precedent. I think it's safe to move unilaterally in the future when there's no redirect in the way. --BDD (talk) 15:31, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, this is one of a series of very similar recent RMs, and the same arguments apply. — P.T. Aufrette (talk) 16:52, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per encyclopedic accuracy and fact, that the players listed above are known almost exclusively only in their native country. - Darwinek (talk) 17:06, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - Diacritics are not always necessary, but no good reason not to use them for these titles. Rlendog (talk) 21:53, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom and encyclopedical correctness. HandsomeFella (talk) 11:32, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
