Although Garten served in the military during the Vietnam War era, no reliable sources found as of yet state that he actually served in Vietnam during the war. There is a reference that says he served in Thailand during the war, see here. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of the Vietnam War was removed from the article. Semper Fi!
