This is not at all noteworthy.

We need to delete this entry otherwise EVERY douche-bag hispter will want his or her own. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.85.42.237 (talk) 02:27, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

He is noteworthy now, not as an academic, but the Dumpster project and his trip to Europe have received enough press coverage. I tried to tighten the article a bit. (talk) 21:00, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest?[edit]

I am wondering about this article now. unilarity (talk · contribs) seems to have very strong connections to the subject. Please do not use this article to link to every single blog or article that touches on the Dumpster project or Jeff Wilson. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a promotion tool. The section on the dumpster project is overly detailed now: it should have its own article if it is noteworthy enough. Info on the weather station or project phases are irrelevant with regard to Wilson. (talk) 13:53, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed?[edit]

Lemnaminor (talk · contribs) thank you for being interested in this article. The weather station is critical to the educational nature of the project and was just featured on the weather station this morning. However, if it is under the rules of Wiki, should there be a Wiki page on the Dumpster Project separately? Thanks for helping out.

If it passes WP:Notability, why not? However, it's easy to be overly detailed when you are involved in a project like this (assuming you are). At the moment the article feels unbalanced to me. If you want to provide a detailed description of the dumpster project it should have its own article, since this one should mainly be about Jeff Wilson's role in the project. Unilarity (talk · contribs), I saw that you claim that the pictures you added as 'own work'. Please review WP:AUTOBIO if that is the case, and take it to heart. Thanks! (talk) 15:11, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
