Needs some serious work. I can't really get what is the goal so am having trouble editing. If anyone else wants to jump in and try to contribute or shine some light on what is being said that would be helpful. Cleanelephant (talk) 22:37, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've done the first paragraph - I think it explains things rather better now, but am not guaranteeing the translation 100%. I tend to translate somewhat freely. (I often got into trouble in school for this: when the teachers were asking for word-for-word, I was giving fluent English instead; I think it annoyed them that 95% of the time I was right... I couldn't see the point of word-for-word when the individual meanings were only really given by considering the overall sense of the thing.) Will come back to it when I get a mo - feel free to remind me. Peridon (talk) 17:59, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have changed country he was born and dead as Brusssels was not in France at these time (between 2 it was indeed). Based on that I would also suggest to remove mention to his French nationnality if there is no source to prove it (article in French does not mention any nationnality even if we can assume he was French native speaker). Brussels and Belgium history is always complicated :-) Pierre.alix (talk) 21:23, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
