@Theanonymoustypist: Wikipedia articles need to pass notability guidelines, see WP:GNG and WP:NBIO, with GNG or the basic criteria of biographies requiring multiple independent, reliable, secondary sources that constitute of significant coverage. In this case articles about the subject's family members or databases would not meet WP:SIGCOV. The New York Times is undoubtedly WP:RS but in this case it is just a weddings column that covers the subject in two short paragraphs, and is not significant coverage. The obituary and the book reference seem only the plausible sources that might count towards notability, though I could not access it on Google Books. Therefore, if it's possible could you inform me how long the book reference covers Jean-Claude de Givenchy? Thanks. VickKiang(talk) 03:02, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
