Why undid merge[edit]

I unmerged the article from List of Stanford University Centers and Institutes as Jasper Ridge is actually a large tract of land preserved from too much human interference and of interest both biologically and historically (though this needs to be expanded upon in the article). --Erp (talk) 00:45, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Officially 1973 though recreational use continued until 1975. I don't think it has changed in size since then. I added the date and ref. --Erp (talk) 03:20, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
