Links have now been added from Meditation, Dhyana, Raja Yoga, Patanjali and Samadhi to this page. Hence I have removed the orphan tag. Econgame (talk) 01:19, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Yoga tag has been resinstated. Of course, the seventh limb of yoga in Patanjali's system is dhyana. Moroever, Patanjali's seminal definition of yoga in the second sutra of the Yoga Sutras is: "Yoga is the inhibition (nirodhaḥ) of the modifications (vṛtti) of the mind (citta)" (see yoga). This is precisely the purpose of the Jangama Dhyana technique. It is stated in the article: "This meditation is a purification process... This is why it is so important not to analyze thoughts during meditation." As mentioned, in the article, this is an ancient dhyana yoga practice mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita and used by masters such as Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
