We are aware that the wording on Cornish entries can sometimes be a contentious topic, especially those concerning geography. These pages are not platforms for political discussion. Issues relating to Cornish politics should be restricted to those pages that directly deal with these issues (such as Constitutional status of Cornwall, Cornish nationalism, etc) and should not overflow into other articles.

Gravestone[edit]

A question in relation to the following quote:

Ruse's gravestone, which he carved himself, reads: "Sacred to the memory of James Ruse who departed this life sep 5 in the year of Houre Lord 1837..."

This is a pradox. How could he have carved the gravestone when he would have had to have been dead to know (or not know) the date that he died? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jspiga (talk • contribs) 02:56, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He carved his gravestone before he died, BUT NOT the dates, they were added later!Pruse 05:25, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If the DNA project remains in this article, I suggest it have its own short section or at least be presented in a more encyclopedic manner.
