Why link to "Kazan" (book) showing only city in russia? 17:58, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

The link has been disambiguated, but now points to a redlink. -- Bovineone 04:58, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Disney film _Nikki--Wild Dog of the North_ (1961) is based on Curwood's _Nomads of the North_ and probably deserves specific mention. 17:58, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

Suggest different treatment of films[edit]

This is a really long list of films adapted from Curwood's work. He appears to have been unique in this success, but the long list bogs the article down. Perhaps it should be published as a separate page and linked to this article? It is not clear why this list is so long, when the Lead says that at least 18 films were made as adaptations or inspired by his work. Have scholars or fans decided to attribute new films to his work? Rather than having this huge list here, it might be more useful to readers for editors to find content that discusses why Curwood's work was so popular in the early years of the movies; these adventure films span both the silent and talkies eras. The northern frontier was still close to people's experience and dreams of adventure.Parkwells (talk) 16:23, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
