Untitled[edit]

"Pro-family" is a meaningless, POV term (it implies that people who disagree with Bopp are "anti-family", which most people, including myself, find absurd; no one self-identifies as "anti-family", and I would go so far as to say no one is anti-family. People just have different ideas about what families should be like).

I'm removing it and replacing it with "conservative". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.29.154.174 (talk) 14:05, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which Romney campaign?[edit]

Dead Ref(s?) and Unfinished Info[edit]

A few items: —— 1) Ref. 43 is dead (Kurita v. Tennessee Democratic Party), and that 2008 case has no doubt been resolved. (It sounds inherently Notable, legally.) —- 2) I haven’t checked any other refs, but perhaps some senior editor could run a Bot over this Article. (That’s well beyond my WP skill set; I’m a copy editor and writer but a WP newby.) —- 3) The final item, Bopp’s representation of Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (who will almost certainly be re-elected) & Congressman Madison Cawthorn (who was defeated in his primary), may be ripe for updating. It certainly sounds Notable. —- 4) Generally, Bopp has been and continues to be right at the heart of many conservative and ultra-conservative legal efforts, ongoing. He seems like a more Notable figure than his current WP assessment indicates. Just flagging this for evaluation by more experienced users. Thanks! Personal information[edit]

There's been a few IP users adding unsourced information about his family. I get that Bopp said shitty things in the press recently but think that the names of his family (especially daughters) should remain private. I'm not going to revert this current version so I don't engage in an edit war.

From WP:BLPNAME: "The names of any immediate, former, or significant family members or any significant relationship of the subject of a BLP may be part of an article, if reliably sourced, subject to editorial discretion that such information is relevant to a reader's complete understanding of the subject. However, names of family members who are not also notable public figures must be removed from an article if they are not properly sourced."
