Jake Simmons Jr.Jake Simmons – The current page for 'Jake Simmons' is a fictional character page, where the alter ego of said character is nicknamed "Jake Simmons". There exists a page for an actual person named "Jake Simmons", who is disambiguated now with a "Jr.". His sources differ between utilizing the 'Jr.' tag, as well as not. An external link to a book about this person shows the title does not use the 'Jr.'. This page should be the default "Jake Simmons" page. • @Debartolo2917: Just being a "real person" does not immediately make Jake Simmons Jr. the primary topic of the name "Jake Simmons". It is possible that the comic character meets the criteria for a primary redirect. Additionally, more research needs to be done to see if "Jr." is commonly used or not. • Support. Just needs a hatnote to Deathbolt. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:36, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nomination and Necrothesp. As of this writing, "Jake Simmons" redirects to a relatively brief entry for the DC Comics supervillain Deathbolt, which mentions the name "Jake Simmons" only twice — once in the infobox and once in the text. The African American oilman was an important figure and his name should indeed take precedence. A hatnote, per Necrothesp, would certainly suffice. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 22:11, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
