WhollyShoesR’Us.com

A man is a shoemaker/repairer with his workshop in a sunny window in the second best street in town. There is a liftable counter across the doorway. This business was bought by Mr Edward Blow in 1941. Ted’s two sons later work in it with him.

Ted, the owner, dies. The business continues at first owned by 1. Ted’s estate then 2. his widow who remarries and becomes Mrs Leather and then eventually 3. by the sons. Throughout this time the business remained the same business. It did have different owners.

Does this show how a business continues even though its owner may change or just change name. Does this concept make sense? Eddaido (talk) 02:03, 18 April 2017 (UTC)

Add JAGUAR E‑PACE to the current models of the company and CONCEPT JAGUAR I‑PACE to the future models. Also the S models are missing and missing as well Jaguar's SPECIAL VEHICLE OPERATIONS(SVO) vehicles XE SV PROJECT 8 and F‑TYPE SVR. Iliasp21 (talk) 15:41, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 17:08, 20 January 2018 (UTC)

Dear Eggishorn thank you for your reply. Below the changes I propose with more details and sources:

In "Current car models" I propose to be added:

JAGUAR E‑PACE The Jaguar E-Pace is the first compact sport utility vehicle (compact SUV) produced by the British car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) https://www.jaguar.co.uk/jaguar-range/e-pace/index.html. It was officially revealed on 13 July 2017.https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/jaguar-e-pace

SPECIAL VEHICLE OPERATIONS (SVO) Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) offers halo models, limited run collectors’ editions and high specification vehicles. Every car showcases the best of Jaguar with stunning performance, unsurpassed luxury and cutting‑edge technology. https://www.jaguar.co.uk/about-jaguar/special-vehicle-operations/index.html. Currently there are two models: XE SV PROJECT 8 and F‑TYPE SVR. Especially, the XE SV PROJECT 8 has 600PS from a 5.0 litre Supercharged V8 engine, Project 8 is the most powerful road legal Jaguar in history. Total production will be strictly limited to 300 cars worldwide, each one hand-assembled at the SVO Technical Centre in Warwickshire, England. https://www.jaguar.co.uk/about-jaguar/special-vehicle-operations/project-8.html

in "Future models" I propose the following addition:

I‑PACE CONCEPT The Jaguar I-PACE is a battery-electric SUV car due to be produced by English automotive company Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) under their Jaguar marque, and expected to be on the road by the second half of 2018.Jaguar_I-Pacehttps://www.jaguar.co.uk/jaguar-range/i-pace-concept-car/index.html

Categories

As with the Land Rover article, I've tried to rationalise the categories applied to the article. Because this company no longer trades as a car producer (that role has been transferred to Jaguar Land Rover), I moved all the categories used for car producing companies to Category:Jaguar Cars (this article is in that category, so it still inherits all of those categories) and kept only the categories applicable to a car brand (which this article is now about). Please discuss if you disagree with this approach, as I am not completely confident that my reasoning is sound! -- DeFacto (talk). 23:06, 26 January 2018 (UTC)

Jaguar Nicknames

Should include a list of common nicknames, ie: Jag, Jizzy, ect — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.121.170.61 (talk) 21:36, 14 April 2018 (UTC)
