I was in Calcutta India in 1945. Returned from Burma after 21 months. Purchased a cribbage board. The board is in black ebony wood w/ an inlay of ivory with colored figurines incased on top of board.The case is hard, covered and padded with velvet. Inside the cover is satin inscribed with : An elephant with following over it. IVORY, MAKINO BROS y CO.., #40 YANAKAMAOMI DAITO-KU, TOKYO, TEL.182-4887.
