Happy to review this. Mostly looking good - I have made some copyedits. Also some brief comments:

  • Italia was under construction for nearly 10 years; I take it from hints in the article that this is unusually long, anything to add here to note that it was longer than expected
    • How does the note I added work?
  • building ways; link to Slipway#Ship_construction?
    • Sounds good to me.
  • Italia was not assigned to either the Active or Reserve Squadrons in 1898, though she took part in the annual fleet maneuvers that year.; so she was with the Reserve squadron till 1898 then de-activated? or something else? It just seemed a bit of a jump.
    • It's probably safe to assume that, but it's often very difficult to track down the activities of these old ships. It's quite possible that the ship was deactivated before 1898 and it just wasn't recorded in one of these old journals.
