Recreation[edit]

I looked for this article and was surprised that it had been deleted. Now Ireland is a small nation and steam preservation is a minority interest, so only 79 Ghits was not a particular surprise. But the society created the first ever steam fair in Ireland, and there is a tradition of 44 annual events between 1965 and 2008 (yes the maths doesn't work, I expect a couple were cancelled).

So it seems to me to be right to recreate this as a stub and to ask for it to be expanded. It is also reasonably well linked to. This says to me that there is a genuine demand for the article, which, while not yet very full, will grow with the right editors looking after it.
